I'd like to suggest we have more private matches amongst clan members and friends. I know a lot of you don't like this idea, because you won't get EXP or complete challenges, but I am getting really sick of all the bad mouthing going on in MW2 lobbies. It seems like every time I get into a MW2 lobby, I have to mute everyone except my party members.

Last night (2/17), I played hardcore team deathmatch alone for a while, and I eventually muted everyone in the lobby, because for some stupid reason, they decided they didn't like me because of my name.

Private matches among friends would be more fun and less stressful. I especially like the idea of doing pistols-only or sniper-only games ? depending on the maps.

If you want to play some private matches, please add to this thread and let us know.

I am all for it. We did a few private matches before and they were pretty much fun. The idea of specialized matches like pistols only or knife only matches sound like a lot of fun. I will still play live matches but working private games into our play time would be fun...

Yeah, I know we tried a pistols-only game one night a couple months back, but we played on Derail, which was too big for that type of game. If we do pistols only, we should play on Favela or Karachi or Skid Row. If we do sniper-only, we should do Wasteland and Derail.

Also, we should make some basic rules ? like no kill streak rewards allowed, but knives are allowed. And, for sniper games, we should limit our secondary weapons to pistols.

Let's try one tonight and see how it goes. I know if Bubby is on, he will kick all of our butts, but it still should be fun.

Just a thought. We have a "group" that was created in the "community" for the FTG clan. That is probably where this kind of stuff should be listed. The suggestion forum shoud be used more for website suggestions.

We played a few private matches tonight, and it was really a ton of fun. Much more fun than playing in random games in my opinion. I don't care about challenges or EXP (as long as I have my WA2000), so I'll play private games all day and night if everyone is up for it! Another rule for the private matches should be no kill cams, since using a silencer or cold-blooded would be pointless if they were allowed. Anyway, very fun tonight.
