Xbox 360 Clans

I've heard some people say the PS3 is better than the 360. An RL friend of mine actually said the PS3 is better, because it's made by Sony, which is owned by Macintosh. Is this true?

I was getting ready to do this same topic. Anyways, I owned a PS3 for one day and took it back I didn't like the set up of it at all. I didn't like the feel of the controller and to me the game play sucked and the internet connection sucked. The only reason so many people think it's so great is because you dont have to pay for the online play like you do for the XBOX360 but what they're not taking into consideration is the fact that the servers for the PS3 online play totally suck. And another reason everyone thinks it's so great is the fact that it has a blue-ray player I say whoopdi do cuz I'd rather have a good online play then all the extra perks. Free isn't always better and that's what people that like the PS3 are thinking..

Have not owned on since the original PlayStation. I do ask others what they think about the ones they own though. Like Bobby said, I usually hear the online play is crap and that makes sense(free). We all complain about Microsoft servers but think what it would be if we didn't pay for the server up keep.

Blue-Ray was my original intention of getting one at first but you can now go to CircutCity.com and get a Blue-Ray player for around $100.

On the other hand, there seems to be a lot less complaints about the Sony console, unlike the 360.

The hardware is technically better for the PS3, allowing for better graphics. However, the software for the 360 is not only in greater abundance, but many games for the PS3 are also for the 360. Also, the online play, while requiring a fee, is far superior to the PS3's free service primarily BECAUSE of the fee. They are putting the money we pay to good use. Because it seems 360 is taking the upper hand in this generation of consoles, we will most likely see it continue to gain on its competitors rather than level out. 360 all the way! =)

P.S. - I have a 360 and PS3, although my PS3 broke for no reason at all.
