Battlefield Bad Company 2
Battlefield Bad Company 2 was released 3 days ago. On the day of release I went to my local game stop with forty dollars in nickles, quarters and dimes to purchase the game.(LOL) When I pulled the change outta my pocket the sales person said, "Are you serious?" and I said, "Yes I am. This is how bad I want the game, I'm willing to spend all that I have on it!" He just chuckled and said "Ok."
The game itself is freaking great! In my personal opinion it's way better then Modern WarFare 2. The graphics are awesome, the game play is sweet, the maps for multiplayer are huge and you can have hours of fun playing this title, just ask Buck.
There is multiple selections of guns with gadgets and attachments to choose from. The more points you get the more guns, gadgets and attachments you unlock.
The best perk of the game is the building destruction. It makes the game intense cuz you never know when a building can come tumbling down on you. Vehicles are another great part of the game. There is a tank on every map for the multiplayer game play. The first team who takes control of the tank gets a good uppper hand on the other teams. There are also quads, jetskis, boats and helicopters. I also love the sniper rifles. They have steady aim and great accuracy. But like Modern WarFare it still takes more than one shot to drop a guy unless it's a direct head shot.

Yep, I've changed my mind, Bobby. Now, I actually prefer BC2 over MW2 for a number of reasons.
It's just more realistic. The graphics seem better, the lighting is more real, the sun plays a factor in how you play, snow maps actually have snow falling in them, the environment is more interactive (you can knock down trees and destroy buildings), and the bullet damage is a lot more realistic as well.
Personally, I don't enjoy the assault weapons in BC2, because they look really short and stocky on the screen. So, I use the sniper rifles a lot. The result is I get fewer kills in the game, but the few kills I do get are really satisfying, because they're more of a challenge, and you really have to think like a sniper to get the kills. "Quick Scoping" won't happen in BC2.
I also like the squad play in BC2. It promotes more teamwork, and you get points for helping your squad. I haven't done much of this lately, because I have been working on sniping more. But, I plan to do more in the future.
The biggest thing I prefer in BC2 over MW2 is that there are no "Ninjas" in BC2 ? meaning there aren't dudes that run around the map, faster than anyone, killing you with 150-year-old shotguns without even looking at you. This just can't happen in BC2, because it's not realistic. In BC2, you always have to be aware of your surroundings, shadows and cover ? just like real battle, and that makes it more fun.
Before, I was thinking about trading my copy of BC2 in as soon as I bought it. But, now, I really have lost all taste for Modern Warfare, and I'm thinking about trading that game in instead.
BC2 is just a better game. The networking and game interaction might leave more to be desired, but the game play makes up for it.
Happy Hunting,
FY
